Lahaina Ondo EP is an "extended play" (short) album of songs honoring the Japanese immigrant contributions to working class experience and community in modern Hawai'i through bon dance and music. Lahaina Ondo recalls fond memories of everyday life in the summertime of West Maui through a bon dance song. A "minus one" or instrumental version is also included. Holehole Uta is a collection of traditional Holehole Bushi verses composed by plantation workers about the hardships of plantation life. Famous nineteenth century West Maui lovesong Ma'ema'e Lihau and Hawai'i's beloved Hawai'i Aloha are sung in Japanese translation.
